Benito Rabal
Benito Rabal Balaguer (Madrid, 1954) is a film director, screenwriter, and writer. He is the son of Paco Rabal (actor, screenwriter, and director) and actress Asunción Balaguer, and the father of actor and film director Liberto Rabal. He began his career as an assistant director in 1970, later working as a second-unit director with filmmakers such as Mario Camus, José Luis Garci, Pedro Olea, Imanol Uribe, and William Friedkin. He has written screenplays, short stories, and poetry, as well as two plays, which he also directed.
